DIY Winter Wedding Napkin Rings

How to Make Your Own Star Napkin Rings this Christmas

***

December has arrived!  Full permission now granted to deck out your home in twinkly lights, watch all the Hallmark Christmas movies whilst sipping on a delightfully warming cup of mulled wine.  Though if you’re planning a winter wedding, perhaps you’re so adoring of this season that you’ve already made your list and checked it twice – in which case I’m sending some early Christmas wishes your way right now!

…That said, there’s always room for an extra embellishment here or there, right?

Whether you’re having a winter wedding and looking for those extra touches that you can craft for your Big Day, or simply want to impress your loved ones with a spectacular Christmas tablescape on December 25th, we’ve got the tutorial that will help you do just that…how to make your own festive napkin rings!

This is a super simple DIY project, we promise you’ll be able to do this too – no elf level skills required.  Once you’ve made them, if you’ve got the crafting spring in your step, you can take your napkin rings one step further by personalising them with your guests’ names – they’ll act as a name card for their place settings and even double up as a favour for them to take home.  I personalised ours using Cricut (there will be a YouTube Short coming soon showing how I did it, so don’t forget to subscribe to our channel so you don’t miss it), but a Sharpie will do the trick too!

This napkin ring will impress your guests when used in the traditional way of course, but you could elevate your tablescape aesthetic even further by using them as ‘Christmas tree’ toppers, folding your napkins to look like Christmas trees and placing your DIY napkin rings on top.  We’ll be back in a fortnight with the napkin folding tutorial for that so keep your eyes peeled and, of course, subscribe so you get a notification when it pops up.
