We’re back, ready (sort of) to take on 2025 with you! I mean, I blinked and the holidays were over, anyone else? …Whilst we technically ‘signed off’ for a week between Christmas and New Year, of course we couldn’t resist a sneaky peek over on Instagram to soak in the joyful, “I said yes!” and “best Christmas ever 💍”, posts! So now we’re officially back online, we’re VERY excited to say hello and congratulate those of you who got engaged over the festive period! So, let’s do it…
CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to your Bridal Era! And because, of course, we want every opportunity to whip out the ‘f’ word…Happy New Year to you and your FIANCÉ(E)!!
To those of you who had extra reason to celebrate over the last couple of weeks, and are therefore new to our Society, welcome! We’re so looking forward to being a part of your wedding planning journey – we hope you enjoy exploring our blog. We’ve been posting YouTube videos and blogs weekly for 7.5 years, which is basically to say, if you’ve got a question about weddings / honeymoons, we’re confident we’ve got what you’ll need (on the remote chance we don’t, drop us a video request in the comments!).
We want your wedding planning to be fun, exciting and low stress, so we’re – Rebecca and Laura – here to virtually hold your hand throughout the entire process. We have been where you are, and we’ve got you (meet us here). We’ve both experienced the whole wedding planning journey, which we loved (some may say we had trouble letting go and hence Bride Society was born), and as with all things you’ve never done before, we learnt a few things along the way, which we want to pass on to you. We planned our weddings ourselves (with our other halves of course), and were fully hands on…literally with the DIYs – we got very crafty, so we’ve got a lot to tell you about! NB. Our platforms are entirely free to use.
We designed Bride Society to be just that, a community (Society) of engaged couples, supporting, encouraging and sharing ideas with one another, with Laura and me adding in all the ideas and info we can possibly think of to make your bridal era everything it can be.
