Top Tips for your Exotic Honeymoon
***
At this point, I feel I’m lucky enough to be able to qualify myself as an experienced traveller. And the sunnier, warmer corners of the globe have been some of my favourite and most trodden. You might have already been along for some of those adventures with me through the reviews/vlogs I’ve posted on our channel (if, not definitely take a peek and escape with me), basically, if there’s a beach to stroll or a mountain to hike, you don’t have to ask me twice…I’m there, but what have I learned along the way? Not in a deep, philosophical kind of way (but if you want a blog on that too, I can go there – comment below!), but practically. The prep, packing, negotiating airports, the extras I now can’t be without…
There’s the more obvious stuff, like checking what vaccinations you may need for your destination (spoiler, that’s point one in our video), but beyond that I got to thinking about the little things I now do when I travel that I would never even have considered earlier in my travelling days, that just simply, makes things better.
So, if you’ve recently booked in your romantic honeymoon, or maybe even a destination wedding and want to travel like a pro, we’ve rounded up those top travel tips to ensure your smooth travelling and maximum honeymoon enjoyment. With plenty of tips on how to avoid some of the most overwhelmingly common mistakes I see people making in airports!
NB. Some of our travel tips apply to any destination, but where we get more specific, we’ve focussed in on exotic, beach-type holiday destinations for today’s video. But if you want more, let us know in the comments!
We hope you find it helpful. Got any great tips of your own we didn’t mention? Drop them in the comments to help out your fellow future honeymooners. Where are you heading on honeymoon? We’d love to hear – we’re cold and need to live vicariously through you!
Don’t forget, you can find our destination wedding / honeymoon reviews on our YouTube playlist here.
