Beginners Cricut Tutorial | Drink Savers

Special Touches – Entertaining with Cricut

***

I always aim to go above & beyond for my guests, no matter the occasion – birthday / anniversary / engagement party, hen do, baby shower, Christmas gatherings, weddings… If I’m hosting, I’m going all-in, no half measures…and that doesn’t mean big budget if you’re willing to get hands-on and prep!  It’s about making a special occasion ‘feel’ special.

The way I see it, entertaining / hosting is all about how I can make my guests feel.  Excited, treasured, loved, valued, seen, celebrated…and one of the key ways I do that is through the extra touches.  The things that aren’t necessarily essential, like drink savers or takeaway cake boxes, but are thoughtful and appreciated.

The goal here isn’t to stress yourself out, bankrupt yourself or spend the whole event worrying about how it’s going.  The bonus of ‘extra touches’ from a stress point-of-view, is that usually they can be prepped well in advance whenever you find a moment here or there.  And just do what you can, sometimes you need to let an idea go, that’s ok!  Mentally store it for another time, after all, you don’t want to show your whole hand on the first go around!  Plus, DIYs can often be a budget friendly way to go, especially on custom items.

We’ve got so many tutorials on our channel that you’ll be brimming with ideas and inspiration for your next event.  And today we’re here with one more!  Our latest Cricut tutorial – Drink Savers! Not only will they save your guests from wondering which drink was theirs in a sea of glassware, but they’ll feel touched that you took the time & effort for them.

This tutorial is for beginners and works with all Cricut machines.  A great place to start as a first project or if you’re still getting to grips with your machine (I remember the learning curve – I’ve got you!).  The full details of what you’ll need are listed below…
