DIY Wedding Napkins

Yet again, you’re upping the stakes! Your celebration is about to get a serious upgrade if these are the finishing touches. Whether it’s cocktail hour at your wedding, a bridesmaid proposal brunch or an engagement bash with nibbles, embossing your napkins with your couple’s monogram is guaranteed to impress even the most discerning of guests.
There are sooo many ideas and tutorials on our YouTube channel at this point for those of you who, just like us, are in love with the detail of an event – you know, those bits that are entirely unnecessary, until you think of them, and then suddenly become entirely necessary.
We are always flying the flag (twirling it / shaking it / jumping around with it) for personalising wedding items, and we’re here to say that these monogrammed napkins are a brilliant way to keep your look running throughout the day. And, of course, you can easily choose a napkin colour to complement your wedding aesthetic too.
We’re using our Cricut Maker and EasyPress Mini for this project, but any Cricut machine and an iron will do the job! We’re taking you through the whole process in today’s tutorial, from creating your basic design in Cricut Design Space, to cutting your stencil and embossing your napkins.

NB: These napkins were made for demonstration purposes only. If you are making embossed napkins for others to use, we recommend using a clean baking sheet and wearing disposable gloves for hygiene reasons.
