When you think of a quintessentially British celebration, bunting most likely features as decoration. So what could be more appropriate for one of the biggest celebrations (your wedding day!)?! Although we haven’t gone for the traditional decor bunting for our video this week, we’re showing you how to add that same vibe, but on a smaller scale with our Make Your Own Bunting Cake Topper video.
This a no-sew, budget friendly tutorial. We used scraps of cotton fabric and ribbon we already had. Although the beauty of the bunting being miniature, is that even if you have to buy some fabric to make it, you won’t need very much!
To make our bunting cake topper, you will need:
- 2 x food safe skewers
- Fabric in the pattern/colours of your choosing
- Cotton thread
- Fabric Glue
- Hot Glue Gun
- Alphabet Stamps & Ink Pad
- Ribbons/Bows for Decoration
